Share PC Internet to Android Smartphone through Virtual Wifi Reuter

Let say you living abroad like me. You have cheap 3G mobile package but only 50MB quota per month.
Then you ask girl next door for internet sharing via cable connected to her! (reuter). Then you only have unlimited internet on your laptop only?! wait, there´s still chance for your android to share the same unlimited internet on your laptop! without spending your money to buy new reouter certainly...

here it is my experiment Ive made based on browsing and so many errors from:
http://www.londatiga.net/it/how-to-share-internet-connection-between-pc-and-android-phone-using-wifi/

So basicly you need the following requirement as described below:
  1. Laptop with Wifi and connected to internet via LAN cable. Im using toshiba satellite.
  2. OS: Windows 7
  3. Android smartphone. Im using Samsung Galaxy SII.

  • Setup your own wifi network and press Start Virtual Reuter.
  • Now you can connect your android to wifi but still no access for internet.
  • Different with the source website Ive given, now Im just share the internet via windows network and sharing center.

  • Click on the highlighted yellow, the internet from LAN cable that you want to share.
  •  On Local Area Connection status, click Properties.
  • And Mark Allow network sharing through this internet connection.

  •  OK, finnaly you now have internet connection shared via wifi.
  •
your network and sharing center will have the internet connection for both network like this:

  • If you have any problem you can stop the virtual wifi and turn on again just for restart the connection.
  • If  there is still problem you can check the android connection to use static IP as described on the web source: http://www.londatiga.net/it/how-to-share-internet-connection-between-pc-and-android-phone-using-wifi/
Happy interneting!

I think there is no need of any external third party software or to even root your phone .IT can be easily done by using Microsoft's network handling commands in command prompt.
I have discussed a step by step method in my blog.
